Galter Library will be closed on Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The Extended Hours Study Space (EHSS) will remain open to Feinberg affiliates with badge access 24/7. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 8:00 am. 

Celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through Northwestern's MLK Commemoration events. The Chicago Campus’ programming will take place from Tuesday, January 20, through Friday, January 23, 2026, in collaboration between Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine, and Northwestern University. *The above hours refer to the entire library space, i.e. all publicly-accessible areas and levels. Outside of these hours, the library's Extended Hours Study Space (EHSS) is open to Feinberg affiliates 24/7.
