Who We Are: In 2015 Galter Library and Feinberg’s Medical Education Department identified an opportunity to enhance access to information in clinical care decision-making settings. The Clinical Librarian Service (CLS) was formed, embedding Clinical Librarians in Medicine’s patient rounds and Morning Report.  

Meet Our Clinical Librarians: 

Corinne Miller, MLIS                                                          Denise Nunes, MS RN, MSLIS 

What We Do: CLS provides our clinicians, faculty, fellows, residents and students with real-time access to evidence-based research, impacting decision making and patient care. We conduct searches to identify resources that will answer questions in real time. 

How We Do It: We offer virtual rounding support to Medicine and Dermatology. On October 1, 2024, we will expand our services to include a Clinical Support Chat, text and email offered to all those with a Feinberg appointment working in inpatient or outpatient settings.  

TL;DR: We are the humans helping you connect the dots when it comes to evidenced based clinical practice. Chat, text or email us with any questions related to patient care and clinical decision making!
